Adding the new DAF Euro 6 to ETS2 Studio


Since a lot of you asked, here's how to add the new DAF XF Euro 6 to ETS2 Studio.
Go to the truck database (in options), and add a new truck. All the data you need to enter can be seen on the screenshot. (...and is also listed below with importaint stuff written in bold).

For detailed information on how to add a truck into E2S, read the blog post we wrote on how to add 50keda's DAF XF105.

Data:
Truck name: DAF XF Euro6
Truck internal name: daf.xf_euro6
Author: SCS Software

Cabins:  (InternalName/Name)
superspace/Super Space
spacespoiler/Space Aero
space/Space

P.S.
There's a bug in our application that can prevent the skin from showing up in the game. If that happens, create the skin again, but leave the 'Suitable for' cabin options as they are by default.

    Thanks alot it worked, also for the next ETS2 Studio update, can you add an option for a standalone cement trailer?

      We'll add the cement trailer, but not right away in the next version. The next version (0.7.1) will probably be truck-skins only. And, when we make sure those work perfectly, we'll add trailers.

    This might sound stupid, but the new daf euro 6 isn't a mod as you're referring to the 50k's daf. So what file do i need to add in the load from mod ?

      Hi. Yea, you're right. The article about 50k DAF isn't really relevant. I should have read it before I refereed to it. :)

      You don't need to load any mod files to add the new DAF. Just enter all the data like shown on the screen-shot in this article, and you're good to go.

    hey, can you add an option to the ETS2 Studio >> PREVIEW << so that you can see how it would look lorry or trailer after the addition of their skin

    Excuse me for my bad English, but my mother tongue is French :)

    When I try to put a picture when I create my euro 6, ETS2 Studio doesn't recognize it... The picture is on 800x700 pxls... Thanks

      Download DAF Euro 6?

      DAF Euro 6 is available in the game from version 1.14. If you don't have the DAF in your game, update your game. If you have a Steam game it should update automatically, if you have a retail version of the game, you can download the updates here: http://www.eurotrucksimulator2.com/update.php

      If you're asking on how to add the DAF to our ETS2 Studio - well, all information is on this page. If you get errors while adding the truck, take a look at our last couple of blog posts since we wrote on how to solve it.

      If you need more information, let me know. Also, please describe your problem a bit more detailed, so you can get more detailed help.

      If you are refering to the image of the truck that's displayed in the ETS2 Studio Application - it's not importaint. You can select any image you want, or use the default image that the application offers.

      If you're asking about the hockey skin image on the truck shown on this page - that skin is a part of the Canadian Flags DLC: http://store.steampowered.com/app/304213/

      Throws an error! COULD NOT FIND part of the PATH "C:\Program Files (x86)\ETS2 Studio\data\trucks\templates\database.wtt". Tell me how to solve this problem
